Little Noir is a project created by Tommaso Papetti, set in an “Italian-style noir world” filled with ridiculous gangsters, soft-hearted tough guys, "fatal-ish" females, and anthropomorphic animals. A place suspended in time where the laws of man mingle with those of nature and the shadows of people live a life of their own.

The project, inspired by the great classics of the 1950s, was initially presented as a Pitch winning the 'Cinema delle Valli' contest. 
Later, in collaboration with the writer Lorenzo Zeppegno, the project has developed into the creation of a 10-episode TV series (still unrealized) to finally result in the production of a short film that tells the prequel story of the series' protagonist: 

Little Noir Gioco De Hombre.

The short was initially screened during the eighth edition of Torino Factory and subsequently at numerous Film Festivals receiving acclaim from both film critics and audiences.

Little Noir Gioco De Hombre

tells the story of Chicco Manda, a penniless and precarious cargo unloader who makes a living while keeping away from the criminal underground as much as possible. Although, his life takes an unforeseen turn when he gets contacted by a stormy girl who asks him to help her leaving the city secretly from her jealous lover: the dreadful mafia boss Don Catrame.​
